From May 25-28, Fed Square will be showing each of the AFL evening games on the Big Screen tocelebrate the annual Sir Doug Nicholl Indigenous Round.
This event celebrates the contribution Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have made to Australian Football throughout the decades and coincides with Fed Square’s Reconciliation Week.
This year’s event holds special significance, celebrating 50 year since the successful 1967 referendum where two references in the Australian Constitution, which discriminated against Aboriginal people, were removed. It also celebrates 25 years since the Mabo decision.
