Refined Apple Designs Signal a Re-imagined Fed Square

Refined designs of the Apple Global Flagship Store at Fed Square have been released today after a series of design workshops involving Fed Square Management, the Victorian Government, Melbourne City Council and Apple.

Part of a broader reimagining of Fed Square, which includes the new Digital Facade on the Transport Building and the new Melbourne Metro Train Station entrance, the Apple Global Flagship Store will create more than 500 square metres of new public space, provide outdoor shading, better connect the square to the Yarra River, deliver more cultural events and boost visitor numbers […].

National Reconciliation Week In Fed Square

Fed Square is working with Australia Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) and NGV: Australia to host a week-long program of events for National Reconciliation Week.
From Sunday 27 May – Sunday 3 June, Fed Square will become the hub for a range of exhibitions, activities and documentaries that celebrate and commemorate significant milestones in the journey to reconciliation.

Regional Victoria in the Heart of the City

City dwellers can get a taste of regional Victoria during April when Federation Square transforms into Shepp Square, a two week festival of food, family activities and free events highlighting the best of the best of Greater Shepparton.
Taking place from 9-21 April, each day will be themed to showcase the regions dynamic food scene, agricultural offerings, indigenous culture, arts institutions, and family friendly events.

Liquid Sky to Captivate Fed Square this February

Federation Square will be covered by a mesmerising silver holographic sky-net when Patrick Shearn’s Liquid Sky arrives in Australia for the first time ever later this month.
Liquid Sky is a breathtaking public art installation created by 150-metres of silver streams, suspended to harness the wind and dance dramatically as if floating in mid-air.
The work will blanket Fed Square with an intimate silver ceiling from White Night until the end of February, providing yet another attraction in a summer jam-packed with family activities.

Marvel’s Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N Comes to Melbourne

Fed Square is the new home to Australia’s first Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N., a world-class immersive exhibition that recreates the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
